Vinted Fees Explained

Vinted charges sellers nothing. The buyer pays a Vinted fee on top of your price, plus shipping. Enter your listed price to see what you receive and the range the buyer is likely to pay.

You receive

0% seller fee

Buyer pays, likely range

£29.04 – £30.79

Vinted fee £1.05 – £2.80 + shipping

Vinted publishes the buyer fee only as a range, usually 3% to 8% plus £0.30 to £0.80 including VAT; the exact amount is shown at checkout.

How money moves on a Vinted sale

  1. You list at a price. That full amount is your payout; there is no selling fee and no processing fee on the seller side.
  2. The buyer pays your price, plus the Vinted fee (a percentage plus a fixed amount that Vinted publishes only as a range), plus the shipping option they choose.
  3. You post with the prepaid label within five business days. Two days after the order completes, the money is in your Vinted balance.

Worked example

You list a dress at £25 and the buyer picks £2.99 shipping. You receive £25.00. The buyer pays between about £28.74 and £30.79 depending on where the Vinted fee lands in the published 3% to 8% plus £0.30 to £0.80 range. Vinted no longer calls this a buyer protection fee on its help page; it is simply the Vinted fee.

Why there is no calculator with a single answer

Vinted does not publish the formula that sets the fee for a given order. Showing a single number would be guessing, so this page shows the range and tells you where the exact figure appears: in the listing price breakdown and at checkout.

Questions sellers ask

Does Vinted charge sellers?
No. Vinted UK's help pages say there are no fees for selling and you can list as many items as you like; what you earn is yours to keep, paid to your Vinted balance within two days of the order completing.
What is the Vinted fee?
A mandatory platform fee the buyer pays at checkout, usually 3% to 8% of the item or bundle price plus £0.30 to £0.80, VAT included. The exact figure depends on the item, the order value and whether it is a single item or a bundle, and is shown in the price breakdown before the buyer pays. It funds the refund policy, secure payments and support.
Who pays shipping?
The buyer chooses a delivery option and pays for it at checkout; you get a prepaid label and must post within five business days.
How should I price on Vinted?
Price the amount you want to receive. Because the buyer pays the Vinted fee and shipping on top, your listed price is your payout, unlike marketplaces that deduct a percentage.
